I did have to contact customer service to help me program the control and the instructions were not clear to me. The gentleman I spoke with was very nice and talked me through the steps. I would definitely order from them again if I needed to. Love the equipment.

The automatic kit does not state that it is for pull in gates only, and no prompt was given to purchase additional parts for a push out gate.
