AXBS or AXBD Replacement Instructions
How to Replace AXBS or AXBD
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
1. Take pictures of your wiring connections.
2. Verify the system is OFF.
STEP 1. DISCONNECT ALL ITEMS FROM THE OLD CONTROL BOARD.
A - Battery cable
B - Alarm harness connection
C - On/Off switch harness connection
D - Receiver harness connection
E - All wiring going to the screw terminals
F - Remove all 6 mounting screws
STEP 2. REMOVE OLD BOARD
STEP 3. VERIFY NEW BOARD IS CORRECT FOR YOUR APPLICATION
AXBS = Single gate opener system
AXBD = Dual gate opener system (This will also work for a single system)
STEP 4. RECONNECT ALL ITEMS TO THE NEW CONTROL BOARD IN THE ORDER BELOW
F - Install all 6 mounting screws
D - Receiver harness connection
C - On/Off switch harness connection
B - Alarm harness connection
E - All wiring going to the screw terminals
A - Battery cable
STEP 5. REPROGRAM YOUR SYSTEM. INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON LABEL ON INSIDE OF SYSTEM CONTROL BOX.
A. Set the DIP switch to the same settings as old board.
B. Adjust Force Setting to be the same as old board.
C. Learn the remote transmitter.
D. Set the extended limit.
E. Set AutoClose, if applicable.
