For single tube gates, the Ghost Controls® TSS1 Heavy Duty Automatic Tube Gate Opener is the best option. This kit includes a 12V battery and battery box, One 3-Button Remote Transmitter, AC Transformer, and our lifetime warranty on every arm’s motor and gearbox. This kit does not include 16 gauge, two-stranded wire to connect the AC Transformer to power and to the control panel.
Electricity needs to be within 1,000 ft of the gate and a GFCI outlet to plug the AC Transformer into. If you don't have access to electricity within 1,000 ft of the gate, you can always go solar and add a 10-watt or 30-watt solar panel to your system. When going solar we also recommend having two 12V batteries in the battery box.
