Moving your Antenna to Increase your Transmitter Range

In some instances and installation locations, you may experience Radio Frequency (RF) interference that could negatively impact your system’s performance. Moving your system receiver antenna may improve the performance and can be easily accomplished in only a few minutes.

Extending Your System Receiver Antenna

1. Purchase standard TV coax cable and an adapter from your local hardware, big box, or online store.
2. Unscrew the system antenna at the bottom of the control box.

3. Screw in the coax antenna to the control board.

4. Screw in the adapter to the other end of the coax cable.

5. Screw in the antenna to the other side of the adapter.

6. Mount antenna as high as possible.
