For single decorative gates, the Ghost Controls® DTP1 Decorative Single Automatic Gate Opener Kit is the best option. This kit includes a 12V battery and battery box, One Premium 5-Button Remote Transmitter, AC Transformer, and our lifetime warranty on every arm’s motor and gearbox. This kit does not include 16 gauge, two-stranded wire to connect the AC Transformer to power and to the control panel.
Electricity needs to be within 1,000 ft of the gate and a GFCI outlet to plug the AC Transformer into. Don't worry if you don't have access to electricity within 1,000 ft of the gate you can always go solar and add a 10-watt or 30-watt solar panel to your swing gate operator system. When going solar we also recommend having two 12V batteries in the battery box.
The included AXP1 remote transmitter not only is touted for having great range but also has our patented Party Mode® feature.
